With Le Concert, Israeli composer Armand
Amar won the 2010 Cesar in France for
Best Soundtrack. Alongside his original
compositions are some pieces by Mozart,
Mahler and Tchaikovsky directed by Béla
Devos and the Budapest Symphonic
Orchestra. Also on this album are a few
interpretations of Russian folk songs,
including the La danse du sabre and
Kalinka.
